Obtained by allowing the Aleatico grape to dry on the vine - a variety that has been cultivated in this area for decades - it has a garnet colour with orange reflections. On the nose the wine is an explosion of perfumes, ranging from wild flowers to ripe fruit, and from honey to dried fruit.
On the palate we find hints of honey, accompanied by notes of walnut, caramel and dried figs. This wine makes an interesting accompaniment for blue cheeses, although its balanced residual sugars make it the ideal companion for all kinds of patisserie, matching perfectly with traditional Sardinian dry pastries.
